General Description of Positions:
Augusta Tech Head Start Teacher
Will be responsible for carrying out all classroom activities according to CSRA EOA, Inc. Policies and requirement of Head Start Performance Standard. Will work with Augusta Tech staff to ensure that the needs of the Augusta Tech College (ATC) students are met. Will monitor, mentor and evaluate the work of ATC students. Will provide required data to ATC on their students.
Must have AA degree in Early Childhood Education. Mentor Teacher certification is a plus. CPR/First Aid Certificate of training completion is a plus.
Bus Driver
Transport children to and from the Center and
appointments. Provide transportation for parents to and from the Center.
Transport staff to program functions. Transport meals and supplies as necessary.
Keep daily pick up log and keeps bus clean.
Must have High School diploma, at least 2 years
training/experience in school bus driving and basic maintenance. Must have valid
Georgia Commercial Drivers License (CDL), a "P" endorsement with an excellent
driving record. Good knowledge of the community and the ability to communicate
well with pre-school children is helpful.

High School diploma or equivalent required. Prior
experience working with pre-school children desired. Practices good personal
hygiene. Various other duties as assigned.

good repair. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Other duties may be assigned.
Center Operations Assistant
Work involves the supervision and coordination
of the Center operations in absence of the Director. Assists with monitoring
building, grounds and vehicles for cleanliness and safety. Observes classroom
operations. Works with Center Director to prepare bus early morning schedule.
Checks timesheets and field trip requests. Assists with day to day operations of
the Center. Keeps adequate records and insures their confidentiality.
AA degree in Early Childhood or related field is
required. A minimum of two years supervisory experience. Must have reliable
vehicle, and a valid driver's license. Bilingual is a plus.

Responsible for work performed under the supervision of the Center Director.
Duties include tasks necessary to maintain effective office routine. Proofs and

at least one-year typing with a minimum of 35 wpm and clerical experience. Must
have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Clerk Typist - Family Community Partnership
Office (FCP)
This position is located in FCP Office. Responsible for work performed under the
supervision of the Head Start Family Community Partnership Manager. Duties
include tasks necessary to maintain effective office routine. Proofs and types
all correspondence, organizes and maintains a filing system. Handles all
day-to-day office activities. Performs other duties for the good of the Agency
as required. Operates office machines, copiers, computer hardware and software,
including word processors, and other machines.
Must be able to communicate effectively, orally and in writing. Must be able to
lift at least 50 pounds or more. Business College graduate required. Must have
at least one-year typing with a minimum of 50 wpm and clerical experience. Must
have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Cluster Center
Director
Work involves the supervision and coordination of the
Center operations. Reports to the Operations Manager. Serves as a resource
person for the staff and prepares monthly reports for the Supervisor and other
appropriate Administrative Staff. Supervises the Center Staff. Schedules field
trips. Ensures that the physical environment is safe and clean. Supervises and
assists with the planning of classroom activities. Conducts center meetings at
least monthly and prepare bus monitor schedule. Keeps adequate records and
insures their confidentiality. Desire College study with course work in
Early Childhood Education. AA degree in Management or related field is
required. Three years experience working in a preschool setting. A minimum of
two years supervisory experience. Must have reliable vehicle, and a valid
driver’s license.
Cook
Performs work under supervision of the Nutrition
Coordinator. Duties include USDA reports, food storage, cleaning,
assisting with food preparation and transporting of food. Washes dishes
and cooking utensils. Cleans work areas and appliances, attends parent and
staff meetings. Practices good personal hygiene. Various other
duties as assigned. All applicants must have a current physical exam and
health card; pre-employment drug screen; a valid drivers license and reliable
transportation.

Performs work under supervision of the Head Cook and Center Director. Duties include food storage, cleaning, assisting with food preparation and transporting of food. Washes dishes and cooking utensils. Cleans work areas and appliances. Attends parent and staff meetings. Practices good personal hygiene. Various other duties as assigned. Must have a Food Safe Server Certification.
Data Entry Clerk/CSBG
Under direct supervision of the Homeless
coordinator/Planner, assists in a variety of Administrative and Programmatic
duties relating to data entry, database maintenance, program reporting,
community needs assessment, development of resource information and assistance
in program development. Desirable skills are; computer literate with Microsoft
Windows, detailed oriented, organized and able to maintain accurate records,
through knowledge of the target area, and community resources.
High School Diploma or GED and one year of clerical training or experience.
Computer work processing experience is required. Any work and /or life’s
experience which contribute to maturity, sensitivity to others and motivations
to work in a CAA. Must possess a valid drivers permit and appropriate vehicle
insurance coverage.
Facilities Specialist
The Facilities Specialist (FS) works under the supervision of the Operations Manager, responsible for all administration, implementation and coordination of construction, repair, maintenance and usage of all Head Start facilities. Ensure that applicable local and state safety licensing requirements are met relative to facilities. Train all Center custodial staff and contract vendors per job assignment.
The FS works with considerable latitude for independent judgment. This position includes management skills, functional and technical supervision of temporary labor as needed.
Must have an associate degree from an accredited technical school in carpentry or building construction or 5 years experience in repairing and remodeling, inventory control and ordering supplies. Must be computer literate.
Family Service Worker
Works to insure that all aspects of the local
program's health, disabilities, social services, parent involvement and mental
health components meet or exceed the requirements set forth in the Head Start
Performance Standards.
Assists in establishing and maintaining
cooperative relations with community agencies, Head Start families and Head
Start personnel. Is an advocate for the Head Start Programs and its families.
Keeps all appropriate personnel informed of family situations and needs. Submits
required monthly reports, enters component information into the computer.
Recruits and enrolls Head Start children. Must be able to communicate
effectively, plan and organize. AA degree in Social Services required.
Valid driver’s license and ability lift 50 pounds.
Fatherhood Specialist (FS)
Works under the supervision of the Family and Community Partnership Manager, the FS will work to ensure that services are available and accessible for all Fathers and Significant Males in the lives of our children as set forth by the Performance Standards. The FS will provide intensive comprehensive, support and follow up services to families; assist parents with the planning, implementation and evaluation of services and needs.
Bachelor’s degree in Sociology or Social Work is required. Three years experience in a public or private social service agency. Must have basic computer skills.

Works with Head Start/Pre K Partnership to ensure that Head
Start requirements are met. These requirements include the application and
enrollment process, provision and documentation of services for children and
parents, data entry of information relative to assigned work sites. AA
degree in Social Services required. Valid driver’s license and ability to lift
50 pounds.
Health Services Specialist
Works under the
direction of the Early Childhood Services Manager. Supervises the implementation
of the Health Services goals and objectives set forth by the Performance
Standards and EOA policies.
Writes and updates health work plan, reviews budgets, meets with committees for
input on annual work plan and budget. Monitors the health services program,
secures commitments for services and negotiates contracts and agreements.
Distributes supplies and equipment to staff and monitors the delivery of health
services for children.
LPN with current Georgia license is required. Two years experience with children
is preferred. Must have valid Georgia Drivers License. Good knowledge of the
community and the ability to communicate well with pre-school children is
helpful.
Janitor
Works
under the supervision of the Center Director. Responsible for the maintenance
and cleanliness of the center according to the Performance Standards and CSRA
policies. Must clean the center daily.

keeping them in good repair. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Other duties may
be assigned.
Marketing Coordinator (Marketing and
Sales)
Education: Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting or
Marketing
Professional Experience: Five years progressive experience in Business,
Marketing, Finance, Mortgage, Real Estate or Housing Program Management ,or any
other combination of education or experience deemed acceptable. Must posses
sound knowledge of marketing and the mortgage process with strong emphasis on
community lending programs offered by the local financial community. Must be
proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Desk Top Publishing and Desk
Top Underwriting Systems. Must possess good oral and written communication
skills and be able to interact with diverse populations.
Must have
experience in marketing, business, real estate, banking or mortgage services;
will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing plan and
strategies for the organization. Must recruit, train and organize volunteers,
and establish relationships with other non-profit housing organizations and
affordable housing developers. Responsible for property sales and marketing,
contract negotiations and review, basic housing counseling, education awareness,
outreach and marketing. Responsible for fast track counseling for “ready” and
“near ready” clients to select a home and to move toward closing, and counseling
clients seeking foreclosure, default and reverse equity mortgage assistance, and
general client services. Skill set includes strong computer skills, marketing
and networking, and ability to meet heavy reporting requirements and deadlines.
Mortgage Counselor and Financial Advisor

Responsible for managing all aspects of the counseling process and serves as
supervisor for the general counseling staff. Will serve as the lead counselor
for the organization, focusing on strategy development for those with financial
challenges; must be or become certified as a Professional Housing Counselor and
have significant business, finance and mortgage experience. Will be responsible
for mortgage pre-qualification, contract review, and mortgage product analysis
for agency’s clients. A strong emphasis will be placed on “ready” and “near
ready” clients to select a home to move toward closing. Must develop counseling
plans and strategies to address credit and financial challenges for pre-purchase
clients, as well as for clients seeking foreclosure, default and reverse equity
mortgage assistance. Skill set includes strong computer skills, marketing,
networking, and ability to meet heavy reporting requirements and deadlines.
Outreach Resident Assistant Position - Ross Neighborhood Network
Under the direct supervision of the Job Readiness
Instructor/Case Manager, this position requires a self-starter with demonstrated
experience in communicating effectively with others and the aptitude to perform
a number of administrative tasks. Primary responsibilities will be informing the
community of the Neighborhood Network Center and its programs, events and
activities. This position will identify and assess the needs of low-income
individuals. Will attend and participate in staff meetings, target area
community meetings, and other center projects and programs as needed.
Prefer High School Diploma or GED, clerical training or
experience, and any work and /or life experiences which contribute to maturity,
sensitivity to others and motivation to work in a Community Action Agency is
helpful. Must have a clean background and be drug free.
Part Time Accounts Payable Clerk
Work hours will not
exceed 20 hours per week 8:30 AM until 12:30 PM. Will be responsible for
preparing A/P vouchers for payment. Should be detail oriented. Will need to
receive and sort invoices daily and match the invoice with the proper PO if
applicable. Must be able to record the proper invoice amount to charge to the
element. The Grants Management Financial System will be used and A/P checks will
be prepared after the voucher batch has been proofed.
Must have high school diploma or equivalent. Prior A/P experience a plus.
Resident Assistant Position - Ross

Works with the teacher to implement daily activities and supervises outdoor activities. Must have a high school diploma with vocational training in Early Childhood Education plus three years experience working with pre-school children. CDA Certificates will be required within two years.

activities. Supervises loading and unloading of the buses, makes the required
home visits, conducts the individual child assessment. Must have a high
school diploma and a CDA. Vocational training in Early Childhood Education and
experience working with pre-school children is desired.
Social Services
Specialist
Works under the direction of the Partnership Manager to
ensure goals, objectives and performance standards are met. The Head Start
Director is responsible for evaluation on an annual basis.
Specific duties are to recruit eligible children, write
and update social services work plan, develop and request service area budget,
organize a Family and Community Partnership Committee, utilize a system for
identifying family needs, develop a plan for identifying and reporting suspected
cases of child abuse/neglect to ensure state regulations are met and other
duties as described in the job description.
Must have a valid driver’s license, a means of
transportation, a current health card and an annual physical. Must obtain MVR
within 15 days from the beginning of the school year or within 15 days of
employment. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and travel out of town and at night.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively, have a basic knowledge of
community and resources, understand and implement HHS guidelines and the ability
to address public gatherings.
Must have a Bachelor Degree in Social Work. Five years
experience working in a public/private social service agency. Must have basic
computer skills.
Weatherization
Assistant
Responsible to the Weatherization Coordinator , will work with the crew as well
as administrative staff to ensure that goals and objectives of the Program are
met.
Assumes office, managerial and logistical responsibilities in accordance with
the duties assigned to the position of weatherization assistant. Responsible for
all time sheets, monthly reports and inventory report. Will develop and maintain
a confidential record keeping system. Will provide technical assistance to work
crews. Will handle admin responsibilities. Perform light duties in accordance
with received safety training. Be able to climb ladder, work atop roofs and
crawl through unfinished attics and crawl spaces.
One year vocational training in the area of carpentry/home insulation preferred.

Must be capable of performing light carpentry tasks. Able to use sound judgment.

Crew Chief
Responsible to the Weatherization Coordinator for the
operational aspects of the Agency’s home weatherization program. Duties include
conducting home assessments, scheduling of weatherization work and supervision
of all weatherization crew.
Responsible for assessing home weatherization needs and estimation of job cost.
Responsible for scheduling work and work crew. Inspects work upon completion.
Provides technical assistance to work crews. Insures that all forms are
completed for each house that is weatherized.

Agency’s home weatherization program. Duties include conducting home

Weatherization Inspector I
Responsible to the Weatherization Coordinator for the operational aspects of the Agency's home weatherization program. Duties include conducting home assessments. weatherization of homes, maintenance of necessary materials, tools, equipments and agency vehicles.
Will schedule and conduct initial energy inspection of homes and ensures inspections are completed in accordance to the Weatherization Installation Standards and Policies and Procedures, Health and Safety, Lead Safe Practices and OSHA guidelines. Inspects work by crew upon completion. Reviews statements or estimates of work from subcontractors for accuracy and completeness.
Must be capable of performing light carpentry tasks. Able to use sound judgment. Capacity to relate to low-income clients. Must have valid driver's license, transportation and appropriate vehicle insurance. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work in an outdoor environment . Must be able to pass full physical with pulmonary lung test.
Weatherization
Technician
Responsibilities include weatherization of homes,
maintenance of necessary building materials and tools. Performs light carpentry
tasks, delivers materials to work site when requested, assists the Carpenter
Supervisor to inspect homes and determine materials needed for weatherization.
Responsible for maintenance of tools and supplies on the job site. Performs
other duties as assigned.
Must have high school diploma or equivalent. At least one year vocational
training in the area of carpentry desired. Must be in good physical health and
capable of performing light carpentry tasks.

Responsibilities include weatherization of homes, maintenance of necessary materials, tools, equipment and agency vehicles. Performs carpentry tasks necessary of the weatherization of homes including patch work, insulation of home to include attic and walls. Delivers materials to work site when requested to do so by the Weatherization Crew Supervisor. Assists Crew to inspect homes and determine materials needed. Works with electric saws, drills, etc. One year of vocational training in the area of carpentry. Must be capable of performing light carpentry tasks. Able to use sound judgment. Capacity to relate to low-income clients. Must have valid driver’s license, transportation and appropriate vehicle insurance. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work in an outdoor environment. Must be able to pass full physical with pulmonary lung test.
